Burial at sea has ancient roots, practiced by various cultures as a sacred way to return the body to nature—particularly the waters from which life is believed to have originated. For seafaring peoples, it symbolized continuity, spiritual connection, and respect for the divine. Historically, it became a tradition among sailors and mariners, especially when death occurred far from land.

In many naval traditions, it serves as a solemn tribute to those who lived and died at sea, honoring their service and deep bond with the ocean.

One of the biggest secrets to success in social media marketing is consistency.
Keep showing up—whether you have clients or not. Keep posting, even when it feels like no one is watching.

Personally, I haven’t always been consistent with posting my products or sponsored ads on Facebook. But I’ve been selling on WhatsApp for over three years, and one thing has become clear: the people who buy from you are often the ones you least expect. They might not like or comment on your posts, but they’re paying attention.

The same goes for other social platforms. Even if your posts don’t get many likes, your products are still being seen—and bought.

So keep posting. Stay visible. Stay consistent. Focus on reaching your target audience and trust the process.

I believe the Igbo apprenticeship system in Nigeria is more effective than the European style of education, which has led to high levels of unemployment in many places.

Before the arrival of Europeans, African societies, including the Igbo people, based their education on apprenticeship—learning by doing, through hands-on experience and mentorship. But when Western education was introduced in the 19th century, this traditional method of learning gradually lost its place and value.

If we embraced the apprenticeship system again, especially in today’s economy, it could help reduce unemployment, empower young people with practical skills, and promote entrepreneurship. It’s a system that has worked for generations and still has the potential to create real opportunities.
