The planning committee for the Father Alia Hall of Fame (FAHOF) is pleased to announce the formal approval and official details of the institution, following its highly successful public presentation held on the 29th of August, 2025 at the ALGON Guest House in Makurdi.
The public presentation served as a pivotal forum, bringing together esteemed reviewers, insightful speakers, government officials, community leaders, and stakeholders. The robust discussions and valuable inputs received during the event have been meticulously incorporated, culminating in the finalized framework for the Father Alia Hall of Fame (FAHOF).
The Father Alia Hall of Fame is established to eternally honor and celebrate the exceptional legacy, visionary leadership, and transformative impact of His Excellency, Reverend Father Hyacinth Iormem Alia, the Executive Governor of Benue State.
The institution will serve as a premier center for leadership inspiration, historical preservation, and academic research, dedicated to documenting and promoting the ideals of selfless service and good governance exemplified by Reverend Father Hyacinth Iormem Alia.
The official details of the institution, as approved post presentation, are now confirmed. The planning committee is now proceeding to the next phase of planning, which involves due consultation with our pillar and stakeholders to determine the most auspicious date and venue for the grand unveiling and inauguration ceremony.
