THE STRANGE CHILD 🚸

The Strange Child with Strange Powers
No one in the village knew wherein the child had come from. She appeared one misty morning at the brink of the forest, barefoot and silent, her huge, silver eyes reflecting the rising solar. The elders whispered of omens, of spirits that walked amongst mortals.

She by no means spoke, however abnormal things happened in her presence. When she waved a hand, the wind obeyed. Flowers bloomed in her footsteps, even inside the lifeless of wintry weather. And when she stared too lengthy at a person, their deepest secrets unraveled before them like whispers inside the air.

The villagers feared her. They saved their distance. Even the bravest hunters crossed themselves while she passed. But someday, when the river ran dry and plants withered beneath an unnatural drought, desperation driven them to are seeking for her out.

The village chief, vintage and weary, knelt earlier than her. “Please,” he murmured. “Save us.”

The child tilted her head, as if considering. Then, she raised her arms to the sky. The clouds thickened, swirling like ink in water. Thunder growled. And then—rain. Heavy, limitless rain, drenching the earth, filling the river, respiratory existence lower back into the land.

The human beings cheered. But when they turned to thank the child, she was long gone—vanishing into the mist, simply as she had come.

Some say she turned into a spirit. Others, a forgotten goddess. But no one ever doubted her power. And occasionally, when the wind howled through the trees, villagers swore they may hear her laughter—soft, distant, and full of mystery.

Let me know in case you need any changes! 😊
