Tinubu Is A Courageous President APC Chieftain Bayero.

A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress APC and a Member of Tinubu/Shettima 2023 presidential Campaign Council, Youth mobilisations North East, Chief Lawal Bayero has described His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu As a courageous and dogged President, He stated this with regard to the policy and reform being carryout by his administration.

Bayero believe that President Tinubu is laying a solid foundation for Democracy to thrive, he said ,since 1999 this is the first time Someone with Courage is coming on board to better the Country, he added that because of the faulty foundation laid in 1999 a lot of wrong had been done to Democracy and our country as a whole.

The APC Chieftain frowned at the attitude of some civil servants, he heap blames on their behaviors that they help to abet corruption in the Country, he also blamed the electorates for making politics been perceive as an enterprise, that that is the reason when politicians spent money during electioneering campaign when get into office they make sure the recoup back their money.

He appeals for all to join hands with president Tinubu in other that he can move the Country forward, he added that if Nigeria Is good is for the betterment of all Nigerians and if bad it affects all of us and as a member of the All Progressive Congress APC the success of President Tinubu administration is a success for them who met with the electorates and promised good Governance.

Bayero sue for Nigerians to be patriotic and ask for Almighty Allah forgiveness even if just few minutes through prayers in addition, he said muslim, ummah, should use the last ten days of Ramadan to pray for tpeace and harmony in Nigeria. and he believes that God will forgive us and heal our land.

El-Rufai Part Ways With APC Joints SDP

As a founding member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), I have fond memories of working with other compatriots to negotiate the merger of political parties that created the APC. It had been my hope since 2013 that my personal values and that of the APC will continue to align up to the time I choose to retire from politics.

Developments in the last two years confirm that there is no desire on the part of those who currently control and run the APC to acknowledge, much less address, the unhealthy situation of the party.

On my part, I have raised concerns in private and, more recently, in public regarding the capricious trajectory of the party. Therefore, at this point in my political journey, I have come to the conclusion that I must seek another political platform for the pursuit of the progressive values I cherish.

Founders rightly feel attached towards institutions they helped create, but one must be pragmatic enough to admit when a divergence appears unbridgeable. I have diligently served the APC and made my contributions to its viability as a political platform, but I recognize that the party has since strayed and left me stuck in the vision of its well-meaning founding fathers and mothers.

As a loyal party man, I worked to help secure the APC’s election victories in 2015, 2019 and 2023. I was one of the many governors elected on the party’s platform in 2015 and 2019, that stood for certain democratic and progressive principles to advance nation-building. My eight-year tenure in Kaduna State was devoted to implementing progressive policies to advance human development in education and healthcare, as well as expand infrastructure, promote equality of opportunity, create jobs and attract investments. These records count for little in the current APC that has castrated its organs and treated its membership with contempt in the last two years. I find this no longer acceptable.

Today, 10th March 2025, I have submitted a letter resigning my membership of the APC to my ward in Kaduna, effective immediately. Prior to this step, I had concluded consultations with my mentors, colleagues and loyalists across the country about the future. I have now decided to join the Social Democratic Party (SDP), and adopt it as the platform for our future political engagements and activities.

Without prejudice to this decision, as a member of the SDP, I will focus on engaging with and persuading other opposition leaders and parties to join us and congregate under a unified democratic platform to challenge the APC in all elections and bye-elections between now and 2027 by the Grace of God. I therefore call on all our supporters and other persons concerned about our country’s future to join us in the SDP in the journey towards making Nigeria flourish as a beacon of pride for Africans and the Black Race.

IWD 2025: GOV ALIA DESCRIBES WOMEN AS THE CRADLE OF LIFE AND SOCIETY

… Emphasizes on the need to educate the girl child

Benue State Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia has described women as the cradle of life and society, calling on all stakeholders to ensure educating the girl child, as it is the most powerful weapon against oppression and relegation.

The governor stated this on Saturday, March 8th, 2025, on the occasion of this year's International Women's Day (IWD) celebration.

He described the contributions of women as vital, stating that without the women, communities would weaken, the economy would suffer and families would forever be searching for a direction.

Governor Hyacinth Alia, who stressed the key roles played by Benue women in the areas of farming, trade, lawmaking, teaching, policymaking, as physicians and nurses etc., called on the male folks never to look down on the women.

“Here in Benue, our women are not just mothers in the genuine sense of the world; they are farmers, traders, lawmakers, teachers, specialists, and policymakers. Without their contributions, our economy would stall, our communities would weaken, and our families would forever be searching for a direction.”

He described this year’s theme of the celebration, which is “Advance Action,” as timely, urging all stakeholders to speed up actions aimed at achieving gender equality, addressing the slow pace of progress among women, thereby empowering them and the girl child.

“Despite their invaluable role, very many women still struggle in the regressive waters of inequality. Some are denied education, they force others into early marriage, and overly many still bear the weight of harmful cultural practices. We must therefore speed up action to change this narrative”, the governor explained.

The Governor, who described his administration as one that is favourable to the women, considering the number of women appointees who are not just participants but decision-makers in governance.

According to the Governor, priority has been handed out to empowerment programmes for the women in the 2025 budget of the State, revealing that grants and soft loans will be offered to the women through their cooperative groups, to kick-start trade, agriculture, petty-businesses and several other ventures capable of improving their per person income and self-reliance.

While calling on all to raise their voices for the women who cannot speak and to help push aside barriers that hold women down, the Governor emphasized on the need to invest in the education, empowerment and uplifting of women, insisting that every child, regardless of gender or background, should have access to quality education.

“This is not just a moral duty; it is an investment in a brighter and more prosperous future,” the governor stated.
