Somewhere between the first step and the destination, there is a staircase.
And sometimes, that staircase becomes a reminder of everything it took to get there.
I look at these pictures and I see more than a woman in a black suit walking down a flight of stairs. I see growth, responsibility, resilience and the beautiful evidence of consistency.
The photographs on the wall represent people, moments, relationships and milestones. Each one tells a story. And standing among them reminded me of something I have learned over the years:
Success is not one giant leap. It is a collection of small steps taken when nobody is clapping.
There were days I had to climb when I was tired.
Days I had to keep building when the results were invisible.
Days I had to make decisions without knowing exactly how everything would turn out.
But I kept moving.
Today, I understand that the goal is not merely to arrive at the top.
The goal is to become the kind of person who can keep climbing, keep creating, keep leading and keep opening doors for others along the way.
So, if you are currently somewhere in the middle of your staircase, don’t despise the level you are on.
You are still moving.
And one day, you will look back at the steps that almost broke you and realise they were the very steps that built you.
Keep climbing.
