ADVICE FOR 200L MEDICS
PART1
1. KNOW YOURSELF
it's good to imitate people but at the same time it's very nice if you know what works for you. I don't really like classes for instance but I have never told my mentees not to attend last I spoke with one of them I told her to attend all classes even tho I don't this is because she's not me she'll need to find out herself if these class are helping her or not, what works for me will not always work for her. It applies to other things like our choice of textbook, that I love vishram doesn't mean it will work for you. My friend uses last and i wonder how he does it but it's working for him but not me. I could go and on I can't just exhaust the list. So just get to know yourself and what works for you.
2. START EARLY
If you're just starting your 200L I wouldn't advice you start studying during your 100 level second semester break tho I did this but I didn't like it. Take this time to eat, go out with friends and unwind yourself don't think of book for now because you'll need it. But for some people they like starting during the holidays there's no problem with that at all.
But when lecture starts don't pile up anything, taught that day in class make sure you study what was taught don't leave any stone unturned. Start reading that topic that same day it was taught don't leave it till tomorrow.
3. MAKE PLANS
We're often advised not to just go to school but to get involved in other activities, probably learning a skill, getting involved in church program it could even be having a relationship, you need to plan these things and male time for everything.
