The body of Late General Jeremiah Useni rtd has arrived Abuja Nigeria today 30/1/2025, amidst a crowd of sympathizers who gathered to pay their respects to the late elder statesman.

It could be recalled that General Useni passed away on January 23, 2025, in Paris, France, after a brief illness ¹. He was 82 years old.

General Useni had a distinguished career in the Nigerian military and politics, serving as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Minister of Transport, and Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District, among other roles ². His contributions to Nigeria's development and growth will be deeply missed.

The reception ceremony for General Useni's co**se is a testament to the high esteem in which he was held by Nigerians. As the nation mourns his passing, we remember his legacy of service, dedication, and patriotism
