During the Christmas holidays, there was one day I sat in the midst of friends. We were having this Ronaldo-Messi debate in an open compound. I was the only Ronaldo fan there and I was not carrying last as per One man army. If they give me one point, I will give them two. I was fierce.
One passerby, I don't know who he is till this day, got attracted by our discussion and stopped by. Like me, he is a Ronaldo fan. He was amazed at the way I was dealing with bandits and decided to have my back.
But that guy dey quick vex. It didn't take me long to realize that he was so emotional and has temper issues. The only good thing is that he was on my side.
When we finished arguing. The sister of my friends brought food for us. Plenty rice like this with plenty meat. She is a doctor and knows my medical history so she brought more for me.
Then the passer by guy rose and spoke with seriousness.
Guy: You people think you can bribe us with food. Ronaldo is better. We no dey chop.
Me: Guy I agree with you but take it easy.
Guy: See this guys oh. They think we are cheap. Are we cheap ?
Me: 😏
Guy: Ronaldo is better than Messi. There is nothing they can give us to make us change our mind.
Me: 😏
Guy: In fact, let's be going. Take your food we don't want.
The guy turned to me. By then I have already put spoon inside. By then my friend's sister sensing what was happening jumped in.
Sister: Caleb, there is more meat oh. But before I give you, between Ronaldo and Messi who is better ?
Me: Messi today, Messi tomorrow, Messi forever !
