If you find yourself in a condition like this:

1. You need to put yourself together, don't panic too much,as fear can make you abandon it until it gets worse. Be courageous to try your best.

2. If you can drag it, or slide it down to an open place, good, if you can't, still don't panic.

3. Look for a big cloth material or towels, soak it in water, then still be courageous to use the soaked material to cover the flame.

4. When the flame goes off, locate the gas control and put off the gas .

Note: If the flame is much or an industrial gas, Fire extinguisher can do the work, if you know how to use it.
