Don't know if I'm the only one but I feel most current nigerian afro songs are not well mixed. Especially the vocals.

Took time to play some recent afro songs on the studio setup and discovered most of the vocals still sound unfiltered.

Don't know if it's my ears but anytime I bang any foreign song, even if one recorded as far back as 80s and 90s, the vocals always ignites something in me.

Who else has noticed this..

What a session today..

During our studio sessions, we try as much as possible to make the artist relax and feel at home before and during the session.

Today when the artist was about to commence his session, i noticed he was he was somehow nervous..

I asked him for the title of the track.
He responded "Never walk alone"

I was like, waoo. You must definitely be a Liverpool fan..

He said responded "No, i am a Man U fan"

Me: for una mind una don manage reach finals 🤣

We laughed over it before commencing the session...

This actually helped him relax, while building confidence..

But true true Man U fans una think say una go carry that cup...

This has been our practice right from time.

Whenever we get something done, within a short time, we see it as past, while targeting and focusing on the next task..

It's very good to celebrate your win. But don't dwell on it for long, hence it would limit you while thinking you have arrived..

As the month winds up and comes to an end, take a reflection, look at things that worked, the areas you made progress, what you did, the little adjustments you did that brought about the progress.

Then going into the new month, focus your time and energy into those things that you did that brought about the progress, scale and amplify it as much as you can and await the positive results..

You just have to do this for yourself because nobody is coming to save you. It is you that would save yourself..
