NIYEEDEP/ YEIDEP

I want to use this medium to explain something that confuses a lot of you about this program.

1.The name of the program before they renamed it was NIYEEDEP

2.The registration started around November 2024 and then immediately you finished applying,a membership code will be given to you, and you will be directed to open account with either fidelity, keystone or lotus bank.

3. Around February ending,of the year 2025,there was a sudden announcement about the program being renamed to YEIDEP which includes addition of other partner bank like First bank, FCMB, Union Bank, jaiz bank, and others.

4.Still during this time, they were still given out the code not until later they stop giving out the code due to unknown reason.

5.when they stop giving out the code, after you finish applying they will write a message that one of the partner bank will message you with your account number, which is the reason why a lot of you are receiving account number from bank like keystone, FCMB and union bank without having the code and not visiting their website or branch for account Opening.

6.And of recent registration,it will only shows you "Data submitted successfully" which probably means you too will be sent account number directly.

Exercise patience till one of the partner bank messages you.

COURT UPDATE — 18th JUNE 2025
High Drama Unfolds at Nnamdi Kanu’s Trial as Masked Witness Testifies Before US Observers

The courtroom was tense and fully packed today, 18th June 2025, as the trial of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu resumed. Foreign observers, including senior officials from the U.S. National Center for State Courts, were present to monitor proceedings. All eyes were on the masked Witness 4, who continued his testimony under tight security.

The session began with both the prosecuting and defence teams introducing themselves. The presiding judge confirmed that the hearing would continue from where the cross-examination stopped during the last sitting, as Witness 4 had not yet completed his testimony.

The prosecuting counsel opened by asking:
"Was Benjamin Madubugwu detained in Abuja?"
Masked Witness 4 replied,
"Yes, both Benjamin Madubugwu and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu were taken to the DSS together. But Nnamdi Kanu admitted in front of us that he was the one in the video, and cleared Benjamin of involvement."

However, the judge firmly rejected some documents presented by the prosecution, stating angrily:
"This court cannot rely on these exhibits. They were obtained unlawfully—without allowing the defendant access to a lawyer during the interrogation."

In response, the prosecutor tendered a different document from the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).

Prosecutor: "Can you identify this document?"
Witness 4: "Yes, it’s from NBC. They came to inspect a transmitter Mazi Nnamdi Kanu brought to the DSS headquarters."

Judge: "Does the defence have any objections?"
Defence Counsel: "No objections."

The court admitted the NBC report as an official exhibit.

The cross-examination continued.

Prosecutor: "What do you know about the transmitter?"

Witness 4: "From what I saw, it was clear that it was meant for broadcasting. But bringing a transmitter into Nigeria without government approval is illegal—and no approval was obtained."

Prosecutor: "Who owns the transmitter?"

Court Update – 13th June 2025

Court proceedings resumed today in the ongoing trial involving Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

The day began with the usual formalities as both the prosecuting and defending counsels introduced themselves following the official mention of the case by the court official.

Witness PW4-DDD, wearing a mask, was called to the stand and introduced himself as an agent of the Department of State Services (DSS).

Preliminary Examination of Witness

Prosecuting Counsel: Do you know Mazi Nnamdi Kanu?

Witness: Yes. He is the leader of IPOB and has been calling for the breakup and secession of the South-East from Nigeria.

Prosecuting Counsel: How would you describe him?

Witness: He is a terrorist.

Prosecuting Counsel: How did you come to know him?

Witness: I knew him after his arrest in Lagos. He uses Radio Biafra to incite people.

Prosecuting Counsel: Where was the transmitter used for Radio Biafra hidden?

Witness: Mazi Nnamdi Kanu kept the transmitter in the house of Benjamin Madubugwu at Ubuluisiuzo.

Prosecuting Counsel: Who was assigned to search for the transmitter?

Witness: I was. I conducted the search, located the transmitter, and retrieved it.

The prosecuting counsel then approached the witness box and presented a search warrant.

Prosecuting Counsel: In whose name was the search warrant issued?

Witness: The warrant was executed in the presence of Benjamin Madubugwu at his residence in Ubuluisiuzo.

Presentation of Video Evidence

After admitting the video into evidence, the presiding judge ordered the prosecuting counsel to play it before the court. The video is currently being played on the courtroom screen.

In the footage, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is seen opening a container and telling his supporters that he is sending a transmitter to Nigeria for Radio Biafra, stating that the gospel of Biafra must echo at the doorsteps of freedom lovers.

JUST IN: Court Rules in Favour of IPOB Leader Nnamdi Kanu in Trial-Within-Trial

In a significant development, the court has ruled in favour of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), in the ongoing trial-within-trial.

The presiding judge declared that all video recordings and written statements attributed to Mr. Kanu were obtained under duress and in the absence of legal representation. As such, the court has deemed these materials inadmissible, effectively nullifying them as evidence in the case.

This ruling marks a major turning point in the trial and raises new questions about the conduct of the investigation and prosecution process.

The Judge then gave the prosecution six days to present all their witnesses, warning:

Shocking Revelations in Court Today: Nnamdi Kanu’s Legal Victory Loading?

From today’s court proceedings, one thing is becoming clear—Maazi Nnamdi Kanu may not only walk free at the end of this case, but the Nigerian government might also end up paying him a hefty compensation for grossly violating his fundamental rights.

In a dramatic twist, Kanu’s legal team played a video clip in court where the Director General of the DSS was seen boldly urging Nigerians to arm themselves in the fight against terrorists. When asked, a government witness confirmed that the man in the video is indeed their DG—and even admitted that there’s no real difference between what the DG said and what Nnamdi Kanu is being accused of saying.

If the court weighs this evidence fairly, the outcome might be a massive win for Kanu—and an embarrassment for the government.

Stay with us—we’ll bring you every detail from today’s courtroom drama!
