Mama Regina, shame on you! You took a child because that’s what she was, just 16 or 17 and handed her over to a man old enough to be her great-grandfather. A man that should be teaching her history, not making her a wife! Mama Regina, I hope you’re proud of yourself now. I hope you can sleep at night knowing what you did to that innocent girl in the name of fame and money.
A mother is supposed to protect her child, guide her, shield her from pain, not push her into the arms of an old man just because of greed! You failed your daughter completely. You failed womanhood. You failed motherhood. What kind of mother sells her child’s happiness for political favors and social connections that never even came?
You were supposed to nurture her, but instead, you turned her into a bargaining chip. Since she married Ned, what exactly have you gained, Mama Regina? The promises, the positions, the so-called wealth, where are they now? All the sacrifice, all the noise, and still nothing to show for it except a broken young woman who never had the chance to truly live her youth.
And to make matters worse, Ned arrested her brother while you’re still walking around freely. Why? Why arrest the boy when the real culprit, the one who pushed her into that marriage is still out here?
Regina was a child! She didn’t know better. She only trusted her mother the same mother that should have been her protection, but turned out to be her downfall. I look at my own 16-year-old daughter, and I can’t even imagine giving her to a man old enough to be her grandfather. God forbid!
Mama Regina, you should be hiding your face in shame. You didn’t just fail Regina, you failed every young girl who looked up to her story thinking it was love. What you did was pure wick€dness. God will judge you mama Regina.
