THE K1DNAPPER IN VIRAL VIDEO HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED

A victim of kidnapping, John Arum Azi, was seen in an emotional video that went viral a couple of days ago, being flogged by two young men, with a third pointing a gun at him.

John, who is a student of the University of Jos, was captured along with other passengers of the vehicle he boarded on his way to Kaduna from Jos, to repair a keyboard for a client.

Thankfully, one of those kidnappers, who were demanded ₦30 million ransom for each of the victims, has been identified as Musa Maliya, his TikTok username.

He hails from Toro LGA in Bauchi State but carries out his criminal activities in Gumo.

When contacted, Musa's family said they don't know his whereabout. His elder brother said he once stood as surety for him, but after he was released from police custody, he fled.

From his TikTok account, he is seen a number of times showing off bundles of naira and sometimes moves with a police es**rt.

I hope he is tracked and picked him up quickly and victims rescued.
