The Director of Media and Publicity of the Capacity Movement, Comrade AbdulHakeem Mutiu Adejumo-Ajeseku, on Wednesday, ably represented his principal, Distinguished Ambassador Yerima Usman Shettima, a leading aspirant for the Kaduna Central Senatorial District seat, at the grand finale of the Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC) Digital Training Program held at the Umar Musa Yar’adua Hall, Murtala Square, Kaduna.

The high-profile event drew government officials, media executives, development partners, youth trainees, and other critical stakeholders in the media and digital innovation ecosystem.

Comrade Adejumo attended the ceremony in the company of the Women’s Leader of the Capacity Movement, Hajiya A’isha Umar Kabir, members of the Movement’s Media Team, and other associates, underscoring the organization’s commitment to youth empowerment, digital inclusion, and capacity building across Kaduna State.

Delivering his goodwill message, Comrade Adejumo explained the absence of his principal and conveyed deep appreciation to the organizers and stakeholders, saying: “I am here on behalf of my principal, Distinguished Ambassador Yerima Usman Shettima, who was unavoidably absent."

“We profoundly appreciate the Kaduna State Media Corporation for this visionary programme, as well as the special guests, invited dignitaries, eminent personalities, participants, and members of the press who have contributed to its success," he said.

"This initiative is epoch-making in the annals of KSMC and Kaduna State. I urge the beneficiaries to deploy the knowledge and skills acquired here for the good of the wider society, while remaining steadfast and patient in the pursuit of their goals," Comrade Adejumo added.

"Success comes after hardship, just as relief follows difficulty,” he noted, adding that “resilience, discipline, and perseverance are indispensable on the journey to personal fulfillment and meaningful contribution to society,” he stressed.

“Skills acquisition and digital competence offer credible and dignified alternatives to illicit pursuits,” he further stressed.

“The KSMC Digital Training Programme is a veritable empowerment platform for Kaduna State and Nigeria at large. It builds capacity, promotes responsible citizenship, and equips young people with the tools required for sustainable livelihoods in the digital age,” he further emphasized.

Responding on behalf of the organizers, Umar Ridwan expressed appreciation for the representation and the message delivered, saying:

"Hakika kai ɗaya ne daga cikin mafi kyawun abubuwan da s**a taɓa faruwa ga shugabannin rundunar 'yan sandan Najeriya, titin Enugu, jihar Kaduna, saboda sadaukarwa, abin koyi, aiki tukuru, da kuma amsawa," ya ƙara da cewa.

"Ina roƙon Allah Maɗaukakin Sarki kuma ina yi muku addu'a da gaske, ACP Idris Bunu, da a kare ku, a ba ku lafiya mai kyau, tsawon rai, kuma a ba ku lada daga Allah Maɗaukakin Sarki," ya yi addu'a.

"Ina tabbatar da shirye-shiryen BTV na ci gaba da haɗin gwiwa mai kyau da rundunar 'yan sandan Najeriya don tallafawa zaman lafiya, ɗaukar nauyi, da kuma 'yan sanda masu zaman kansu," ya ƙara jaddada.

Hakazalika, Amina Jibril ta BTV ta yaba da salon shugabancin Kwamandan Yankin, tana mai cewa:

"Hakika kuna alfahari da Rundunar 'Yan Sandan Najeriya, domin kuna da kunnen sauraron koke-koke da shawarwari yayin gudanar da aikinku na jami'in 'yan sanda."

"Irin wannan bude ido ga tattaunawa yana ƙarfafa amincewar jama'a kuma yana ƙarfafa ƙa'idar 'yan sanda masu mayar da hankali kan mutane, wanda yake da mahimmanci ga sakamakon tsaro mai dorewa," in ji ta.

Da yake mayar da martani, ACP Idris Bunu ya nuna godiyarsa ga tawagar BTV saboda ziyarar da kuma yabo.

"Hakika ina farin ciki da godiya ga ziyarar ladabi, yabo, da kuma goyon bayan da ba a yi wa Rundunar 'Yan Sandan Najeriya ba," in ji shi.

"Ina yaba da rawar da kafofin watsa labarai masu alhakin s**a taka wajen haɓaka labarai masu kyau da fahimtar jama'a game da ƙoƙarin 'yan sanda," in ji shi.

Ya ƙara jaddada cewa, "Rundunar 'yan sandan Najeriya za ta yi aiki tukuru don yi muku hidima mafi kyau, kuma za mu yi iya ƙoƙarinmu don karɓar ku a kowane lokaci don yin aiki tare da kafofin watsa labarai a matsayin ƙasa ta huɗu, don ƙara wayar da kan jama'a cewa rundunar 'yan sandan Najeriya abokiyar jama'a ce, kuma dukkanmu muna buƙatar yin aiki tare don samun ingantacciyar al'umma."

BTvNEWS: BTV Online TV Radio and Publication on Tuesday, paid a courtesy visit to the Area Commander, Kaduna Metro Area Command of the Nigeria Police Force, ACP Idris Bunu, at the Command Headquarters on Enugu Road, Kaduna State.

The powerful BTV delegation was led by the Chief Executive Officer, Head of Communication, Research and Strategies, Comrade AbdulHakeem Mutiu Adejumo-Ajeseku, and was accompanied by members of the BTV media crew, namely Amina Jibril, Khalid AbdulHakeem Adejumo-Ajeseku, Ibrahim Alhassan, and Mustapha Taiwo.

Speaking during the courtesy visit, Comrade AbdulHakeem described the engagement as historic, stating:

“Our courtesy visit is epoch-making in the annals of BTV to visit you, ACP Idris Bunu, who has shown commitment, dexterity, and passion in the course of discharging your duty to maintain peace and order, and protect lives and property in the state as a police officer of the Nigeria Police Force, the resultant of which has made Kaduna to enjoy relative peace and order.”

“You are indeed one of the best things that has ever happened to the Metro Command leadership of the Nigeria Police Force, Enugu Road, Kaduna State, for being dedicated, exemplary, proactive, and responsive,” he added.

“I beseech the Almighty Allah and fervently pray for you, ACP Idris Bunu, to be protected, to be granted sound health, long life, and to be duly rewarded by Allah, the Most High, ” he prayed.

"I reaffirm BTV’s readiness to continue constructive engagement with the Nigeria Police Force in support of peace, accountability, and community-oriented policing," he further emphasized.

In the same vein, Amina Jibril of BTV commended the Area Commander’s leadership style, stating:

“You are indeed a pride of the Nigeria Police Force, as you have listening ears to complaints and advice in the course of discharging your duty as a police officer.”

"Such openness to dialogue strengthens public trust and reinforces the principle of people-centered policing, which is critical to sustainable security outcomes," she added.

Responding, ACP Idris Bunu expressed his unreserved gratitude to the BTV team for the visit and the commendations.

“I am indeed happy and grateful for the courtesy visit, the commendation, and the unalloyed support for the Nigeria Police Force,” he said.

"I acknowledge the role of responsible media in promoting positive narratives and public understanding of policing efforts," he added.

“The Nigeria Police Force will do more to serve you better, and we shall be readily willing to receive you at any time to collaborate with the media as the fourth estate, to further sensitize the public that the Nigeria Police Force is the friend of the public, and that we all need to work together to have a better society,” he further stressed.

The visit concluded with a shared commitment by both institutions to sustain engagement in the collective pursuit of peace, security awareness, and social cohesion in Kaduna State.
