The script is tired, the plot predictable: when scrutiny tightens, defection becomes the escape route. Udom’s inevitable migration to the APC is but a ritualistic cleansing, a passage into the sanctuary of unaccountability.

To grasp the magnitude of ₦700 billion is to confront the grotesque inequities that define our political economy.

A single billion, prudently placed in T-bills or eurobonds, guarantees financial security for a lifetime yet here we are, witnessing the brazen theft of 700 such lifetimes.
