Good evening guys!
Let's talk briefly on stress management.
What is stress?
Stress is the body's natural response to any demand or challenge, whether physical, emotional, or psychological. It is how the brain and body react to perceived threats or pressures.
There are two main types;
Acute stress: Short-term stress that goes away quickly (e.g., before a test or public speaking).
Chronic stress: Long-term stress from ongoing situations like job pressure or relationship issues.
While some stress can be motivating or helpful in short bursts, excessive or prolonged stress can negatively affect your health, mood, and behavior
Here’s a brief guide on how to manage stress effectively:
Identify the source: Understand what’s causing your stress to address it directly.
Practice deep breathing or meditation: Helps calm your nervous system.
Exercise regularly: Physical activity releases endorphins and reduces tension.
Get enough sleep: Poor sleep increases stress; aim for 7–9 hours per night.
Stay organized: Break tasks into smaller steps and prioritize.
Talk it out: Share your feelings with a friend, therapist, or support group.
Take breaks: Step away to reset especially during high pressure moments.
Limit stimulants: Reduce caffeine, alcohol, and screen time.
Maintain healthy boundaries: Learn to say no when needed.
Practice gratitude: Focusing on positives can shift your mindset.
And finally, keep fit by working out regularly.
Meanwhile, my eyes were up because I was seeking inspiration🤗🤗🤭
