For some models, you may need to open the side panel or trim flap inside the boot.✅ Step 2: Remove the Bolts/ScrewsUsing your 10mm socket or screwdriver, locate and remove the bolts holding the tail light assembly. Most Range Rovers have two or three bolts.✅ Step 3: Gently Pull Out the Tail LightOnce the bolts are out, gently pull the rear light outward. It may feel a bit stuck, so use even pressure. Be careful not to crack the housing or scratch your paint.✅ Step 4: Disconnect the Wiring PlugUnplug the electrical connector by pressing the tab and pulling it free. This releases the light assembly completely.✅ Step 5: Install the New Tail LightNow take your new tail light and plug in the connector. Double-check the wiring matches up properly. Slide the light assembly into place and ensure it fits flush.✅ Step 6: Reinstall the BoltsSecure the tail light by tightening the bolts you removed earlier. Don’t overtighten—just enough to hold it firmly.✅ Step 7: Test the LightsTurn on your vehicle and test all the rear light functions—brake, reverse, and indicators.
