RT. HON. SIMON DOMINIC AKPAN APPRECIATES WOMEN LEADERS OF OBOT AKARA.
The Executive Chairman of Obot Akara Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. Simon Dominic Akpan, has expressed profound appreciation to the women leaders of the local government for their support before, during, and after the elections.
At a special gathering hosted at his residence, on Sunday March 2, 2025, the chairman lauded the women for their resilience, dedication, and commitment to the success of his administration. He acknowledged their vital role in community development and pledged to stand by them in all their initiatives.
In her remarks, Mrs. Aniefiok Simon Dominic, wife of the chairman, also expressed gratitude to the women for their steadfast support. She offered prayers for their well-being, wishing them good health, happiness, and success in all their endeavors.
Also speaking at the event, Noble Lady Blessing Ebong Uko, wife of the immediate past Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports, commended the chairman for recognizing and honoring the contributions of women. She assured them of her continued support for the administration, emphasizing the importance of unity in driving development in Obot Akara.
On her part, Hon. Lady Agnes C. Udoewenwen, former Chairman of Obot Akara Local Government, praised the chairman for his proactive leadership and assured him of the women’s continuous support for his administration. Similarly, Mrs. Emem Idongesit Ntekpere and Mrs. Inemesit Okon Johnson lauded the chairman for his inclusive governance approach and pledged their continuous support.
