We Visited SureStart School, Kubwa to Celebrate Excellence! 🏆🎤

Yesterday, we were at SureStart School, Kubwa to present the ₦100,000 cash prize to MAIMUNA ISA, winner of the June edition of Battle of Words!

Battle of Words is a solo debate competition initiated by Bring It On Africa in collaboration with UNESCO and the Federal Ministry of Education, designed to promote public speaking and impactful educational dialogue among Nigerian students.

The maiden edition held on Saturday, June 21st, was streamed exclusively on our YouTube channel – Naija Education TV.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Maimuna Isa and her school on this outstanding victory. We also celebrate the brilliance of the other two contestants – Caleb Moses and Ndam Jacob – for their remarkable performances.

🌍🇳🇬🇬🇧 NIGERIAN-UK SCHOOLS DEBATE COMPETITION 2025 – A RESOUNDING VICTORY FOR NIGERIA!

On June 19th, 2025, the Nigerian-UK Schools Debate Competition – a flagship project of Bring It On Africa in collaboration with our incredible partners at Debate Mate UK – held its grand virtual edition, and what an unforgettable showdown it was!

🔥 Nigeria dominated 7 out of 8 debate rounds in a historic face-off between 4 top Nigerian schools and 4 top UK schools, showcasing the brilliance, eloquence, and sharp intellect of our young Nigerian debaters.

🥇 A massive congratulations to St. John Vianney Science College, Ukwulu, Anambra State for emerging as the 2025 Nigerian-UK Debate Champions! 🇳🇬🏆

🎉 We also proudly celebrate St. Augustine's Secondary School, Jos for finishing as one of the top-performing schools.

Both schools will be traveling to the UK this December 2025 for the grand in-person debate finale — the concluding chapter of this impactful international exchange.

To our friends at Debate Mate UK, thank you for a fair, inspiring competition. This partnership continues to strengthen the bonds between our countries and ignite new possibilities in global education.

The high-level meeting, held at the Permanent Secretary’s Conference Hall, was both insightful and strategic. Together, we streamlined activities and mapped out a clear pathway for the long-term sustainability of Naija Education TV — a visionary platform designed to amplify educational voices across Nigeria and beyond.

At Bring It On Africa, we remain committed to delivering transformative solutions that will position Nigeria’s education system on the global stage.
