This week has been nothing short of powerful. From documentary scripting to coordinating behind the scenes with the DISC team in Society for Family Health Nigeria at Nigeria’s maiden National Self-Care celebration.
Self-care isn’t a spa treat, eating an apple a day or just a health term, it’s access, it’s autonomy, it’s survival. It’s that young woman confidently walking into a pharmacy to purchase a HIV self test kit, an RDT kit or a self-injection; it’s a mother making informed choices; it’s a health worker equipped to listen with empathy. The decisions we can make with or without a healthcare provider.
From the Ministerial Briefing to the national webinar, media engagements, and the , I poured my energy into the details, chasing timelines, and adapting on the go.
Oh Yes!!! I enjoyed every run, every rewrite, every shoot. When your heart aligns with your work, even a fully packed week becomes deeply fulfilling.
Self-care is not a luxury, it’s a right.
