ADC Youth Vanguard Disability Coordinator in Gombe, Alongside Members, Steps Down and Declares Support for Professor Isa Ali Pantami

A coordinator of Persons with Disabilities under the ADC Youth Vanguard in Gombe State, Comrade Saleh Haruna, has resigned from his position alongside members of his team, citing loyalty to former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami.

In a resignation letter dated 7th June, 2026 and addressed to the State Coordinator of the ADC Youth Vanguard, Haruna said his decision to step down from the position takes immediate effect. He explained that his action was driven by his decision to align politically with Professor Pantami, whom he described as his trusted leader.

He noted that his resignation was not as a result of any dispute with the ADC Youth Vanguard or its leadership, but a personal political realignment. He expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve and prayed for continued peace and progress within the organization.

Earlier yesterday, a delegation of the Pantamiyya Movement, in support of Professor Isa Ali Pantami, PDP governorship candidate in Gombe State, attended a reception for about 568 members of the ADC who defected to the PDP to declare their support ahead of the 2027 elections.

The event, held in Dawaki under the Dawaki Alliances for Pantami Movement, was led by PDP officials including the Ward Chairman and the PDP North East Auditor, who formally received the new members into the party.

The defectors said their decision to support Professor Pantami was driven by his agenda for good governance, agricultural development, and expanding employment opportunities for young people in the state.
