One thing I’ve learned as I grow older… 👇🏽
For years, I tried so hard to live a “perfect” life—both online and offline. I was always conscious of what people would say, how they would perceive me, and whether someone would find fault in what I did.
But guess what? 😅
No matter how careful you are, people will still talk.
They will criticize you.
They will misunderstand you.
They will talk you down.
Some will even backbite. 😂
And honestly? I’ve grown. I’ve developed a thick skin.
I no longer lose sleep over people’s opinions because I finally realized something:
These people don’t clothe me.
They don’t house me.
They don’t pay my bills.
And most importantly, they don’t live my life.
So, my dear, if there’s something you’ve been scared to post because of “What will people say?”…
POST IT. 😂😂
Wear that outfit.
Start that business.
Share that video.
Show up as yourself.
Becoming who you want to be is not a group project. ❤️
And if someone’s presence on your page is disturbing your peace… BLOCK THEM, MY DEAR! 😂😂😂
Life is too short to keep shrinking yourself just to make other people comfortable.
