Protect your children from adult verbal abuse.

Between 18 and 21, I was crying and praying to lose weight not because I was fat, but because the world made me feel like I was.
At an event with my elder brother, the MC made a joke about my body. People laughed. Nobody stopped it. Nobody spoke up for me.
And something in me broke that day.

I remembered it yesterday and felt real anger because now I understand how dangerous words are.

Please don’t let adults label your children.
Don’t allow body-shaming to sound normal.
Don’t excuse hurtful “jokes.”
Don’t let public humiliation become part of who they grow into.
