Instructions:
1. Marinate the Beef:
Cut the beef into bite-sized chunks. Season with cumin powder, black pepper powder, seasoning powder, and salt. Drizzle with a little cooking oil, mix thoroughly, and allow it to marinate for 40 minutes to 1 hour.
2. Sauté the Aromatics:
In a pot, heat some butter and a little cooking oil. Add minced garlic and fresh parsley. Sauté until fragrant.
3. Cook the Beef:
Add the marinated beef to the pot. Stir-fry until it begins to brown slightly. Then add chopped onions and cook until soft and aromatic. Add the scotch bonnet peppers, mix well, cover the pot, and let it fry for a few minutes.
4. Add the Veggies (Stage 1):
Stir in the diced carrots and sweet corn. Cover and let them simmer gently for a few minutes to soften.
5. Add More Veggies (Stage 2):
Add the bell peppers and broccoli. Drizzle in some sweet chili sauce. Stir well, cover, and let it cook for another few minutes until the veggies are tender-crisp.
6. Create the Sauce Base:
Pour in the coconut milk and stir. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Cover and allow to cook for 5 minutes on medium heat.
7. Thicken the Sauce:
Mix corn flour with a small amount of water to create a slurry. Pour it into the pot, stir well, and allow the sauce to simmer until it thickens to your desired consistency.
8. Serve & Enjoy:
Your rich, flavorful Oriental sauce is ready! Serve hot over rice, spaghetti, or any dish of your choice.
