Elumelu: Joy Bearer, Who Celebrates Birthdays of His People in Unique Way

In a remarkable display of love, kindness and dedication to his people, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, the immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, has been celebrating the birthdays of his constituents, the people of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in a unique and impactful way.

Through his Aniocha/Oshimili people-based WhatsApp platform, "DOOR to DOOR" which is one of the most teeming WhatsApp platforms in Delta State and Nigeria, Elumelu has been gifting every birthday celebrant on the platform with N200,000 on their special day thereby spreading joy and warmth across the Federal Constituency.

This gesture, which has been ongoing for about two years, has not only brought together his people across the four Local Government Areas in Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, Delta State, but also reinforced inclusiveness and the sense of cordiality between Elumelu and the people.

The initiative has also become a further pointer to the former Minority Leader's commitment to the welfare of his people.

"I am overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu's gesture is a reminder that he truly cares about his people in Aniocha/ Oshimili. I will never forget his kindness," said one beneficiary (name withheld) on his birthday recently.

Another beneficiary, who wished to remain anonymous, expressed her gratitude, "I have known Hon. Elumelu to be a kind-hearted leader, but this birthday gift has touched my heart. He is not just a leader; he is a father who has genuine love and concern for his people."

A group of beneficiaries in a joint comment recently said "We are blessed to have a leader like Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu. He is a true servant-leader who always puts his people first,"

Elumelu's gesture is a shining example of selfless service and leadership. As he continues to connect with his people in Aniocha/Oshimili, one birthday at a time, he sets a standard for other leaders to follow in seeing to the joy and welfare of the people.

Elumelu, Aniocha Oshimili People's Foundation Provide School Uniforms to 270 Indigent Pupils in 27 Delta Primary Schools

The Aniocha Oshimili People's Foundation, a socio political organization, in collaboration with Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, immediate past Minority leader of the House of Representatives, has distributed school uniforms to over 270 indigent pupils in 27 primary schools across four local government areas in Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, Delta State.

The foundation, led by the coordinator, Ezinne Ngozichukwuka Odiwe, last week, visited the benefited schools where the uniforms were handed over to all the identified indigent Pupils in those schools.

According to Odiwe the initiative aimed to address the issue of students being sent home due to lack of uniforms: a situation that negatively affects school attendance.

"Many children attend school in tattered or no uniforms, negatively affecting attendance. Heads of primary schools we identified have explained that sending children home for missing or torn uniforms lead to students not returning, as parents could not afford replacements," she said.

The foundation, with major support from Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, who is the main sponsor provided the uniforms, which cost millions of Naira.

Odiwe, who is a retired Deputy General Manager in Delta Broadcasting Service, Asaba, said despite financial challenges, the project was successfully executed, resulting in increased school attendance.

Parents interviewed across the four local government areas of Aniocha North and South and Oshimili North and South, expressed gratitude for the initiative.

Ezinne Ngozichukwuka Odiwe praised Hon. Elumelu for his consistent support for community projects, even when he is not a sitting member of the National Assembly

"Elumelu has sponsored over 10 initiatives of the foundation, including children welfare projects, elders' support, and voter registration campaigns.

i am also happy to report that apart from Aniocha Oshimili People's Foundation, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu is also supporting so many organizations and groups towards community development" Odiwe said.

She appealed to the people of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency to support Elumelu's future endeavours, particularly his electoral efforts, citing his positive impact on communities.

Odiwe also called for Elumelu's return to the National Assembly, saying it would greatly benefit the people of the Federal Constituency.

"Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu's return to the House of Representatives will be of immense benefit to the entire people of the Federal Constituency and that is just the truth. He has done it before by influencing people-oriented projects in all the communities, and he is still doing it even now that he is not in the House of Representatives.

"You can now imagine the magnitude of efforts he will put in, in the further development of our communities and the people, when he returns to the House of Representatives" she said.

Elumelu Donates N20m to Delta State Security Trust Fund, Praises Oborevwori on Peace, Security

The Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, has launched the Delta State Trust Fund, aimed at enhancing peace and security in the state.

This is just as the immediate-past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu OON who commended the governor for the initiative donated the sum of N20 million Naira to the Trust Fund.

The event which held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Asaba, was attended by industry leaders, top government officials, security leaders, and renowned politicians in the State and beyond.

Speaking with newsmen at the event, Elumelu commended Governor Oborevwori for his "proactive approach to security and peace in Delta State."

He however emphasized that security is a "collective responsibility of all citizens and not just that of government" noting that donations to the trust fund are a result of the governor's seriousness on the issue of peace and security in the State

The former Minority Leader maintained that "Governor Oborevwori's commitment to good governance, security and peace has led to the influx of investors into the state resulting in an unprecedented improvement in the economy of the State".

The popular federal lawmaker appreciated those who donated to the fund and assured that he will continue to assist in his own way to bring about a secured and peaceful Delta State.

Hon Elumelu also commended the Delta State Commissioner of Police, the State Director of DSS, and other security agencies for their efforts in fighting crimes and criminal elements in Delta state, urging them not to relent in their determination to sustain the peace and security in the State.

Elumelu's efforts in supporting security agencies in Delta State have been credited as one of his critical achievements as a member and Minority Leader of the 9th House of Representatives.

Elumelu’s Massive Efforts Pays Off, As School of Nursing Sciences Gets NBTE Accreditation ... Osiatuma Speaks, Explains Accreditation Process

The School of Nursing Sciences at the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba, Onicha-Uku, has achieved a significant milestone with the Nigerian Board for Technical Education (NBTE) granting programme commencement approval and full recognition of the institution's administration.

This accomplishment is a direct result of the tireless efforts and massive support of Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, the immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives.

Dr. Azubuike Osiatuma, former Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba, in a chat with cshowcasenews.com, explained the process of the accreditation and expressed profound gratitude to Elumelu, saying, "Our message to Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu is that of gratitude. He has shown that he has a large heart. He is somebody who truly loves our people."

Dr. Osiatuma highlighted Elumelu's instrumental role in the school's accreditation process, providing extensive support in terms of equipment, structures, and scholarships.

He explained that the accreditation allows the school to award National Diplomas in Nursing and Midwifery, as well as Higher National Diplomas in Post Basic Neonatal Nursing, saying that with this development, the school can now graduate students and participate in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) admission process.

Dr. Osiatuma praised Elumelu's ongoing efforts, saying, "Presently, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu is pushing for more hostels through the NDDC, and NDDC has just approved a 50-room, two-story building to be built in the school, all through the efforts of Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu," He emphasized that Elumelu's support is not only massive but also crucial to the school's success.

The renowned medical practitioner affirmed that the school's achievement is a clear attestation of Elumelu's dedication to the development of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, Delta North and Delta State as a whole and said that as the school moves forward, it is expected to produce highly skilled nursing professionals who can make a difference in the healthcare sector.

Dr. Osiatuma maintained by saying, "The school is not for Onicha-Uku alone, it is for the whole of the People of Aniocha Oshimili, Anioma and Delta State as a whole. "That's why we need to appreciate Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu for the fact that what he did was not only for the people of Onicha-Uku, but for the whole of our people. He noted that the accreditation process involved meeting the requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria which they have gotten earlier when the School was open and now, the National Board for Technical Education approval and recognition.

According to him, to achieve this full accreditation, the school had to comply with various standards, including providing additional laboratories, demonstration equipment, hostels, and expanding the school's land area.

Dr. Osiatuma highlighted the efforts made to meet these requirements, including acquiring more land and constructing new facilities while emphasizing that the accreditation ensures the school meets international standards, enabling graduates to compete globally.

In his message to the people of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, Anioma people, and Delta State, in general, Dr. Osiatuma expressed pride in the achievement, stating that the school is now a federal institution of the highest standard.
