If this construct seats with you very well, you'd realize the problems of this great country Nigeria lies with the generation between (50-60)years old who should be leading this country by now with repute and sagacity but there's nothing to write home about these people who haven't built capacity in their 30s and have no clear hold on leadership, style, integrity and reputation. They're only bandwagons and talking gongs.
I want to believe this is one of the reasons why it's increasingly difficult for this generation between (50-60)years of age to topple power from the 80years+ who are still more relevant and clearly in charge.
I think power transition is about trust and readiness. In my opinion, the (50-60)years have not shown conviction and readiness to be in charge - they're busier looking for what to eat up and down.
If you ask me, I'll say that when governance leaves the hands of the 80years+ in Nigeria, it would skip the (50-60)years generation and land on the (40-50)years.
