Revised Timetable for Abuja-Kaduna Train Services, effective from 11th October 2024:
The Abuja-Kaduna Train Services (AKTS) has introduced an updated schedule with additional trips from Fridays to Mondays. This new arrangement adds three trips per day between the two cities.
From Abuja to Kaduna:
- 7:52 AM (Earlier than the previous 9:45 AM time)
- 2:00 PM. (newly added trip)
- 3:10 PM (Usual trip)
From Kaduna to Abuja:
- 7:00 AM (Instead of the previous 8:00 AM start)
- 11:00 AM
- 5:00 PM
This revised schedule is aimed at improving service efficiency and addressing the high demand on these days, with three trips in each direction every day, Friday through Monday.
Tuesdays & Thursdays remain unchanged with two trips per day:
From Abuja:
- 9:45 AM
- 3:10 PM
From Kaduna:
- 8:00 AM
- 1:30 PM
Wednesdays will continue to have only one trip as it is designated for maintenance :
From Abuja: 3:10 PM
From Kaduna: 8:00 AM
This new timetable is expected to help reduce ticket racketeering and provide more convenience to travellers. Please take note of the changes and plan your trips accordingly.
