As the newly appointed Commandant of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), his appointment is not just about rank—it’s about shaping the future of Nigeria’s military.
1. He’s a member of 39 Regular Course of the Nigerian Defence Academy – From cadet to Commandant, he’s walked this very path.
2. Led the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF - FMM) in NDjamena Chad – As Force Commander, he coordinated multinational forces against Boko Haram and ISWAP, achieving major victories.
It was during this period over 2,700 IDPs and Refugees were resettled back to their ancestral homes and as well as over 900 ex- Boko haram fighters surrendered and a large number were neutralized alongside their top commanders.
3. General Officer Commanding (GOC), 7 Division – Maj Gen Ibrahim was instrumental in leading Nigerian forces in the northeast, spearheading critical operations in the war against insurgency.
