Salutation and Appreciation
Glory, honor, and adoration to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who has graciously
allowed us to witness another ECWA International Youth Week of Prayer. On behalf of
the International Leadership of the ECWA Youth Fellowship International (EYFI), I bring
you greetings. Thank you for the commitment and spiritual support given to us so far.
The Apostle Paul in his letter to the Philippians says, I thank my God every time I
remember you. In all my prayers for you, I always pray with joy because of your
partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 1:3-5 (NIV). Indeed, your
unwavering support, prayers, and partnership continue to inspire us in this Kingdom
assignment. May the Lord reward you abundantly and strengthen our collective effort
in advancing His Kingdom here on earth.
The 2025 ECWA Theme
The year 2025 is filled with God’s blessings, and His promises remain with us,
regardless of the situation we find ourselves in. Yet, it is crucial to understand that God
desires us to always seek Him not just in moments of need but in every season of our
lives. Seeking the face of God is a call for everyone: the educated and the uneducated,
the rich and the less privileged, the old and the young. The Apostle Paul expresses this
desire beautifully in Philippians 3:10 (NLT): I want to know Christ and experience the
mighty power that raised him from the dead... This longing to know God more should
be the desire of all believers daily.
2025 Youth Week of Prayer
I urge all Youth at every level to recognize that God has given us a singular message
and vision for this special Week. Let us understand that every position of influence we
see today—in the church, community, family, politics, and the larger society—will be
occupied by the youth of today shortly. Youth must, therefore, realize the urgency to
seek God. Knowing that the society of tomorrow will reflect the foundation we build
today.
EYF In French-Speaking Countries
We want to appreciate God Almighty for the lives of our beloved brethren in the French-
speaking countries. Your patience, resilience, commitment, and unwavering faith are.
We understand that the few uniforms you received may not be sufficient, but we are
trusting God for another batch, which will be allocated to you as needed by His grace.
We are also praying and looking forward to seeing you at the EYFI Conference in
Ebonyi State, Nigeria next year. By God's grace, the EYFI Handbook and Bible Study
outline will be available in French during the next International Conference when we
will be dedicating a new Bible Study Outline. Let us also continue to pray for ECWA
Togo and the Youth Fellowship there, as we trust God for its official establishment.
May the Lord continue to strengthen and bless you richly.
ECWA Youth Fellowship International Conference Ebonyi 2026
The ECWA Youth Fellowship International Conference is a unique gathering that takes
place once every three years, bringing together ECWA Youth from across the world to
fellowship and sit under the feet of Jesus. Despite the challenges posed by the 2023
general election season and economic policies in Nigeria, particularly the currency
redesign, the Kaltungo Conference was successful. Our brethren from Chad and
Cameroon attended. By God’s grace, the next international conference is scheduled to
take place in March 2026 in Ebonyi State, Nigeria. Let us continue to pray for the
success of the conference. Pray also that all participants will enjoy good health,
provision, safety, and time to attend. Finally, we appeal to our parents, pastors, and the
church to kindly support the youth to enable them to attend this life-transforming event.
EYFI At 48 Years – A Journey of Faithfulness and Growth
This year marks a momentous occasion as we joyfully celebrate the 48th Anniversary
of the founding of the ECWA Youth Fellowship International (EYFI). truly inspiring, and we are deeply grateful for the bond we share in Christ. We alsothank God
for the success of the Chad National Youth Seminar held from April 17 to 19,2025, in the
Koyom District. May the Lord bless you abundantly for your dedication andcommitment at
all levels.
of the founding of the ECWA Youth Fellowship International (EYFI). Indeed, God has
been immensely faithful to this Fellowship, and we are grateful for His unwavering
grace and guidance, We also extend our appreciation to the ECWA Executive for their
steadfast support and parental guidance over the years. Truly, the Lord's name be
praised! In these past 48 years, the EYFI has witnessed remarkable achievements and
tremendous growth. Yet, we acknowledge that there is still much work to be done as
we strive to fulfill the vision and mission of the Fellowship. Our commitment remains
strong, and our hearts are set on advancing God's Kingdom through the lives of our
youth.
As part of our continued growth and restructuring, we are excited to announce the
introduction of a Centralized Certificate of Service and the EYFI Hand Card.
Additionally, we trust God that we are expecting another batch of the EYFI wrapper
uniforms, and recognizing the continuous increase in the cost of the EYFI Wrapper
Uniforms; we are pleased to inform you that, by the grace of God, EYFI T-Shirts will
soon be made available. These T-shirts will be worn with Black or Blue Skirts or
Trousers (Jeans), which will be additional uniforms. The wrapper uniforms stand as
our number one uniform, and the T-shirts are expected to be ready on or before the
EYFI International Conference.
We also call for the commitment of every ECWA Youth Fellowship member to
contribute the sum of N500 only towards the support of EMS. Furthermore, every LYF in
Urban, Semi-urban, and Rural areas is encouraged to contribute N2,000, N1,000, and
N500, respectively, towards the administrative and running costs of the EYFI. All
contributions are to be collected by your respective DYCs and forwarded to the EYFI
account.
Additionally, it has become evident that the traditional ways of sustaining the financial
capacity of members and the Fellowship are no longer sustainable. We urge everyone
to leverage God-given wisdom and intelligence to find better ways of improving the
lives of our members and the Fellowship at large. We also humbly solicit the support of
our parents in any way possible to help us grow and become better people. Together,
let us press forward in faith, trusting that greater things are yet to come. We are
confident that He who began this good work in EYFI will bring it to completion for His
glory (Philippians 1:6). May the Lord richly bless you as you partner with us in this
Kingdom assignment.
Condolence and Prayers
We extend our condolences to the entire Body of Christ and the ECWA Youth
Fellowship International (EYFI) over the recent tragic events that have affected our
brethren. We are deeply saddened by the security challenges and the loss of precious
lives in Plateau, Kaduna, and Niger States, Nigeria. Our thoughts and prayers are with
the families who lost loved ones and the communities shaken by these acts of
violence. We also remember with heavy hearts our brethren who suffered a road
accident in Gombe, Nigeria during the Christmas celebrations and those involved in the
unfortunate incident at Billiri during Easter. May the Lord provide healing and succor to
you all, Amen.
Conclusion
On behalf of theECWA Youth Fellowship International Executive, I express profound gratitude
toGod Almightyfor the grace and privilege to serve His purpose through this great
Fellowship. We remain committed to advancing His Kingdom, trusting that all our
efforts will bring glory to His name and impact lives for His glory. May the Lord accept
our service; and bring revival to theECWA Youth Fellowship International (EYFI),ECWA
