Him: why do you punish me? I guess you don't love me

She: I do love you beyond words and you can see it cos it's clear

Him: then why 'no s*x before marriage'?

She: isn't that the right thing to do?

Him: it is but I am human, I am a man, I can't have a woman and look elsewhere.

She: well, it's purely discipline and you really don't have to look elsewhere you know.

Him: I will be tempted to and to avoid that, I want you to have a rethink on this 'no s*x before marriage' thing after all, we will get married at the end right so why punish me unnecessarily?

She: if I was cajoled to have a rethink over this with my exes, do you know how much my body count would be by now? Do you know how many men an average woman would sleep with in the process of searching for a husband if she doesn't set some certain principles to guard herself?

Him: it doesn't matter and besides I am different from your exes.

She: yes you are different, they were different too. And to be unique, you can look beyond s*x. There are other things you can look out for. Times may come when we will not be s*xually appealing to each other, what happens then? Look beyond s*x please... besides, my giving in to 's*x before marriage' may necessarily not stop you from looking elsewhere so you see why this 'no s*x before marriage' might not change?

Him: But I need to test to be sure we are s*xually compatible

She: I may be compatible today in the relationship and be incompatible tomorrow in marriage, you are not God.... Even the s*xual prowess of a pr******te who is assumed to be an expert in the s*x games drops with time and season so, testing is not enough to guarantee s*xual satisfaction in marriage.

Him: you don't love me honestly.

She: I do love you

Him: and you can't bend the rules?

She: well, as a man in my life, I expect you to help me straighten my bent rules and not to help me bend my straightened rules

Him: this won't work

She: if you want it to work, it will. If you don't want it to work, it won't. You are the captain so I will let you sail the ship but if you are going to drown me then you can drop me.

Him: the ship won't sail so I'd rather drop you.

She: cool, wish you the best.

Life is not that hard, be clear with what you want in a relationship and be assertive. Our preferences are different and if it doesn't align with the person you are with, you still have a chance to meet someone whose dreams and passion align with yours and if that never happens, you'd be happy you gave it your best shots.
