“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

This beautiful song is a powerful reminder that no matter how successful, educated, wealthy, influential or important we become, we should never allow pride to take the place of humility.

Everything we have is by God’s grace. The positions we occupy, the gifts we possess, the people who love us, the opportunities we receive and even the strength to wake up each morning are blessings from God.

Sometimes, pride makes us forget where we started. It makes us look down on people, reject correction and feel that we are better than others. But God reminds us that He gives grace to the humble.

May this song touch our hearts and remind us to always walk in humility, love, kindness and gratitude. ❤️🙏

Lord, take away every form of pride in us and give us the grace to remain humble before You and before one another. Amen.
