Few days ago, I had a very important meeting with Barrister Deji Adeyanju.

We’re working on something that I believe will shake this country. A collaboration between Lucky Udu Studio and his law firm to offer free legal support (pro bono) to some of the victims we feature in our stories. People who have been wronged but can’t afford a lawyer.

We also discussed setting up an Emergency Justice Line. A phone number people can call whenever they witness injustice. His legal team will respond. This number will be included in some of our videos, so please pay close attention.

We talked about the pain and injustice many Nigerians go through every day. We discussed how social media shouldn’t just be a tool for noise, but a tool for awareness and and important conversations. We also talked about creating legal awareness content that breaks down people’s rights in a simple way anyone can understand. Most importantly, he offered to support us through strategic partnerships by connecting us with people of influence and capacity who can help push this vision forward.

I also met with the Head of Chambers in his firm, who has now been officially assigned to handle any legal case that comes through Lucky Udu Studio. That’s a big deal.

Barrister Deji Adeyanju didn’t just agree to partner with us. He showed genuine commitment to our platform and the work we do. I want to thank him publicly for the incredible job he is doing for Nigerians. Such a humble man. So focused on justice. So committed to helping people.

If everything goes well, I’ll come back with more updates on this partnership.

But let me say this from the heart. Lucky Udu Studio is doing a lot behind the scenes. The stories. The investigations. The filming. The follow ups. The impact. It’s a lot. And we can’t do it alone.

We need partnerships. We need support. From individuals. From organizations. From Nigerians who believe in what we’re doing. If you would like to collaborate with us in any way, please send an email to [email protected]

Let’s make justice more accessible in Nigeria. One story at a time. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Earlier today, I was live at the TVC studio for an interview on their Breakfast Show. We spoke about something I’m deeply passionate about (how storytelling can change lives).
I talked about how I’ve used stories to raise important discussion, shed light on people’s stories and uplift them.

We also discussed the dangers of social media, and how a lot of young people are turning into “digital activists”, using their phones to fight battles they don’t fully understand.

The truth is, social media is powerful, but power without wisdom is dangerous. It’s not enough to have a platform.
We must learn to use our voice responsibly, not just to trend.
