KAI! THIS WORLD IS FULL OF SURPRISES 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Oh, Four Corners Ikom!
Mrs. Ofem travelled from Ikom to Ogoja for an official assignment. She was supposed to spend six days, but fortunately, the programme ended after just two. Since she couldn’t reach her husband due to poor network in Ogoja, she decided to return home unannounced.
On getting home, her children told her that their father had a female visitor who arrived shortly after she travelled — and that the lady had been staying with them ever since.
Hearing this, Mrs. Ofem became furious and jealous. Curious to confirm, she quietly peeped into the visitor’s room — and truly, there was the woman, dressed casually in a wrapper.
Anger filled her heart instantly. She went straight to the kitchen and set a big kettle of water on the fire. As the water boiled, her husband drove in. He went directly to the visitor’s room, cheerfully calling out, “My love, I’m home!” — unaware that his wife had returned.
Hearing that, Mrs. Ofem was even more provoked, but instead of reacting violently, she decided to calm herself. She used the hot water to prepare a large bowl of Eba and a delicious Afang soup for everyone — her husband, herself, and even the guest, while her children ate noodles.
Indeed, it ended peacefully.
