On my way to my production site today.

I went alone, the driving was so bore, so I decided to pick up someone that’s going same route.

Me and this man started gisting, and he keep talking about about his first wife, i also share my experience. The driving was fun.

What I notice was, until you seat yourself down, and be truthful to yourself you might not make it in life.

He was still living in his past, the reason why this man was suffering so much, was cos he is yet to blame himself and make correction.

If you hate a woman that disrespect you so much to that extent, what about you that disrespect yourself??? Will you rather kill yourself instead of forgiving and move on??

Since he was older I kept mute, and support him in all his words. But deep down, I knew he was deceiving himself.

Last week, one of my Muslim brother walked on to me and told me some of the importants and benefit of having a second wïfe. He listed some points, which are very reasonable to the ear. One of his points is " when you grow old, your one and only wife will always travel to take care of your grandchildren. Who will be there at that time to cook for you and take care of you. And then it will be too late for you to have a second wife. Islam permit us to have up to 4 wives.

My respond was:
Truely Islam permit us to have up to 4 wives but there is a comma, which is "only if we are capable. And our capability to have more than one wife dõesn't only lies on our pocket alone. Some men think once they have money, they can start adding wives.

I might be financially capable, am I sexually capable to have more than 1 wife, have I satisfy my wife self before thinking of adding another, have I given my first wife enough time she needs before adding another?

I do sëe my wife 4 times a week, that's if am even around, but anytime I travel 2 months we might not even mātê, yet someone is advising me to add another wife. Let pity our wives, I don't know what your woman might have done for you, I don't know how heavy her wrong might have be in your heart, the moment you remember she born for you, you should be able to forgive her, except if you are a dévïl, only if u know what they pass through doing labour.

Am not against marring more than one wife but make sure you are capable, and the capability isñt about the financial aspect alone.

Let leave the our future in God's hand, we dont have power over it, having one wife or more than one wife doesn't guarantee you a happy old age.

Am sharing this because none of the people in this story are on Facebook.

Last week, I went for a business trip in Porthacourt, along side with my PA. I knew I can’t drive a long distance, so I ordered a driver to drive me to and fro.

My pa sat next to the driver, while I sat at the back, to be able to do necessary accounting and take proper record while on transit.

After like 15 hours we got to portharcourt, we lodge in an hotel and after the whole meeting thing, we plan to come back home. Now on our coming back, our driver mr lateef saw one of his colleagues who is heading to Ibadan, he stopped and they both gist for few minutes.

Mr lateef came to me, pleaded that is colleague is going to Ibadan and he is stranded, he will be glad if we can give him a free ride.

I looked at Mr lateef eyes, I saw sincererity and love, so I accepted his pleading and ask his friend to come and seat next to me.

That’s where I saw the suprise of my life. This friend keep telling me every mistake mr lateef make while driving, and said he drive better than Mr lateef. He whispered to me without Mr Lateef knowing, both of them are older than me, so I kept calm. Sometimes if Mr lateef drive inside pot hole, he will pinch me.

He requested for my phone number and I gave him a wrong no, it continues like that till we reach Ibadan. Now I felt like telling my lateef that he doesn’t have a friend, but I don’t want to spoil their relationship.

In this life, have learnt that, it is the people you try to help the most that always look for your down fall. Don’t loose guard
