Nigeria: WEAPONIZED POVERTY

Political parties APC and PDP know that 90% of Nigerians has rejected them. In anticipation of this, both parties have made sure Nigerians are pauperized and starved into submission.

Thanks to a new electoral law, rigging will be curtailed in 2023. But vote-buying has not been abolished by the new law, and INEC and the government it represents are too weak to enforce the law on spending limits enacted 12years ago.

Thus, APC and PDP hope to spend upwards of N5trillion each in 2023. On what? They intend to bribe votes, INEC officials and supposed security agents.

It's left for the poor to choose: take the money and vote against them or vote for them and continue suffering.
