I would like to become old as Orogbo
It is orogbo that bestows longevity on man
I don’t want to grow old as obi
It is obi that plunges them into the dome of heaven

Apart from prayers, orogbo could be used as one of the core items required in the preparation of herbal medicine. Some called orogbo bitter cola while some call it bitter kola and is also very strong element used to cure cough and also to balance voice and to clear the throat, my father say ‘je orogbo ki òun rẹ logbo’ which simply mean eat orogbo for you to have everlasting long and good voice.

Kabiesi Sango ara monka ti dun tojo terun, we all know Sango favourite snack is orogbo and is often used to placate or to appeal Sango. The bitterness of the orogbo irritates some people while the bitterness is the Sango favourite.
