🌟 Five Things To Do to Overcome Depression
By Evangelist Oluyemi Stephen Beloved Ministries

1. 🧎‍♂️ Seek God in Prayer.
Bible Explanation: "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." — 1 Peter 5:7 Prayer is a lifeline to God. When depression clouds your heart, pour it out before the Lord. He listens, He heals, and He restores.

2. 📖 Meditate on God’s Word.
Bible Explanation: "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." — Psalm 119:105 The Word of God brings light into dark places. Meditating on scriptures of hope, healing, and joy can renew your mind and lift your spirit.

3. 🤝 Fellowship with Believers.
Bible Explanation: "Let us not give up meeting together... but encouraging one another." — Hebrews 10:25 Isolation fuels depression. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and remind you of God’s promises.

4. 🎶 Worship and Praise.
Bible Explanation: "The joy of the Lord is your strength." — Nehemiah 8:10 Worship shifts your focus from problems to the greatness of God. Praise invites His presence, and in His presence, there is fullness of joy.

5. 🫶 Serve Others
Bible Explanation: "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." — Galatians 6:2 Helping others brings purpose and perspective. It reminds you that your life matters and that God can use your pain for someone else's healing.

🙏 Five Prayer Highlights to Declare Over Depression:

1. Healing Prayer: "Lord, heal my broken heart and bind up my wounds." — Psalm 147:3.

2. Peace Prayer: "Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard my heart and mind." — Philippians 4:7.

3. Joy Prayer: "Restore to me the joy of Your salvation." — Psalm 51:12.

4. Strength Prayer: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." — Philippians 4:13.

5. Victory Prayer: "Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." — 1 Corinthians 15:57.

Day 7
Topic: Grace That Never Runs Out

Text: Lamentations 3:22–23 -
"His mercies are new every morning..."

Reflection:
No matter how many times you fall, grace rises with the sun.
It never runs out. It never gives up.
You are held by love that never lets go.

So, stop condemning yourself. Gather your pieces and return to the barracks. You are wanted by the Commander in Chief of God's Army - the LORD Jesus Christ.

His grace and mercy both say come home son. Come home daughter. Your sins are forgiven you. Amen.

Prayer:
1. Thank You, Lord, for mercy that is new today.
2. I receive fresh grace to walk in victory.
3. I am rising out of the messy ditch by your given grace today and never to fall into the ditch again in Jesus name. Amen.

Praise God.
I believe you have been renewed in these 7 days of grace devotional and prayer. See you next time as the Spirit leads.

Note: Chat me up for private counselling, spiritual help and prayer if you need one.

Remember Heaven is real.

With love from the Evangelist,
Oluyemi Stephen Beloved.

Shalom!

The Grace to Forgive Others
============================
Memory verse: Colossians 3:13
"Forgive as the Lord forgave you."

Reflection:
Grace flows best through a forgiving heart.
Let go of unforgiveness—for your healing sake.
Forgiveness doesn’t excuse; it releases.

Prayer:
1. Lord, teach me to forgive as You forgave me.
2. Heal my heart and let peace reign.
3. I free myself from the prison of bitterness and self condemnation in Jesus' name.

Take a moment to pray for that person that hurts you most.

Shalom!

Day 3: Grace That Covers Shame
================================
Text: Psalm 34:5 -
"They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed."

Reflection:
Shame binds, but grace frees.
Grace says: you are not your worst moment.
Jesus covers you in His love and righteousness.

Prayer:
1. Jesus, I surrender all my shame to you today.
2. O LORD Jesus, please cover me with Your truth and set me free.
3. I claim my freedom today from the chains of shame in Jesus name.

Amen.

Shalom!
