ASSEMBLIES OF GOD NIGERIA
NATIONAL YOUTH CONVENTION 2026
DAY 2 - 2nd MESSAGE
MINISTERING:Rev. Ojo Stephen Gbadegesin Ph.D
Osun District Superintendent
TOPIC:Exceeding Greatness Of His Power
TEXT: Ephesians 1:15–23 | John 14:12
There is a dimension of power that human strength cannot explain.
Nations may possess armies, technology, and resources, yet remain helpless before certain forces of nature.
But when Jesus stood in a storm and declared, _“Peace, be still,” creation obeyed Him.
That same Jesus said, _“Greater works than these shall he do.”
The power was never meant to remain with Him alone.
He entrusted His followers with a mandate to continue His work through the Holy Spirit.
The question is not whether God has power.
The question is: _What are you doing with the power, gifts, wisdom, and opportunities He has placed in you?
Joshua spoke by faith, and the sun stood still.
Moses stood before Pharaoh with no army, yet divine authority backed him.
Aaron’s rod swallowed the rods of the magicians — showing that when God’s power enters the contest, inferior power must bow.
Therefore, do not allow your limitations to define your possibilities.
You may be weak, but *God’s power is not weak.
You may be limited, but *God’s capacity is unlimited.
Paul’s prayer was that our eyes would be opened to _“the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe.”_ — Ephesians 1:19
RISE!
Do not merely admire what God has done.
Become available for what God wants to do through you.
You are not the source; you are the vessel.
The power is His.
The assignment is yours.
The glory belongs to Him.
Rise and conquer.
Rise and serve.
Rise and make Christ known.
