They beat my wife with butt of gun and kicked her belly - Foremost Influencer Nwoba Chika Nwoba

My youngest sister called me this night around 7:30 and told me that over 15 police officers stormed our apartment in Awka and gained access to them through the ceiling, torturing all of them including my wife and telling them to reveal my location. They beat my wife with butt of gun and kicked her belly. They took her away to an unknown destination up till now. They came by 7 pm today, 30th July, 2026.

A few minutes ago, they used my wife's phone to speak to me, requesting that I must show up before my wife could be released otherwise, they'd kill her. They told my younger ones expressly that Ebonyi Governor wants alive or dead. That's what's happening currently.

It is interesting to add to this, the acronym of "Elu Ehugbo" as often used by the Ozizza people, became more noticeable during the time of the colonial Masters, going to,Ugwuoku "(a hill to answer call)"to pay taxes and income tax, going to pay those taxes, you have to ascend the first "Ugwu" called,"Ugwu Nnemogwu"then "Ugwu Matter"Ugwu Evuma "Ugwu Ngodo"&"Ugwuoku" it's self which is Police Station,then returning back to Ozizza you are descending, so locally in that order, they Ozizza people regards the movement as "Elu"not trying to reduced any part of the community. That's all I have to contribute on this, but remember the slogan, of,"ugbo ji yaa ugbo nkasi saga".

HQ Nigerian Army Iduma Igariwey Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna NwifuruPrincess Patricia Urgent Call to Action Regarding Military Intimidation and Civilian Abuse in Ehugbo (Afikpo)

I draw the attention of the Executive Chairman of Afikpo North Local Government, our House of Representatives members, and all serving and retired military generals from our region to a dangerous and unacceptable trend of military intimidation in our town.

The personnel from the Nigeria Army always leave their designated training grounds in Amasiri/Edda to enter the peaceful town of Ehugbo.

Innocent commercial motorcycle riders (bike men) who were lawfully hustling for their daily bread were flagged down, harassed, and subjected to brutal physical abuse, including forced "frog jump" exercises and beatings for no clear offense.

Ehugbo is a peaceful host community. The military training grounds were established for national security, not to serve as a torture center for civilians. This level of intimidation, caging, and animalistic treatment of civilians would not be tolerated in Kaduna or any other host community.

The Nigeria Army must restrict its operations and personnel to their designated training grounds in Amasiri and Edda. They must stop invading Ehugbo to terrorize civilians.

We call on the Afikpo elite, the Local Government Chairman, and our federal lawmakers to immediately caution the military leadership in the zone.

‎The philosophy of Amadi in Ehugbo was made popular by a man called Ezeogo Isu Oko Ogeri from Ukpa together with his friends, Omezue Egwu Urochi and co.

‎He was a Medical Doctor, handsome like David and as hairy as Essau, those who witnessed his existence confessed to not have seen a man who is more handsome than him.
‎
‎He declared himself Omakaejali Ehugbo as a member of Obu eno known as the Amadis and they all supported his rulership.
‎
‎The Ehugbo people kicked against it, they revolted and stopped the practice of Obu eno making them to know that Ehugbo belongs to all who lives in it and accept their homogeneity.
‎
‎He was banned from buying goods at the Eke Ukwu market as a result of his refusal to abide by what the general assembly enacted. He chose to buy his goods at Amasiri Market till his death.
‎
‎No homage was paid to any Amadi for being the progenitors of Ehugbo and that was how Obu eno was ended in Ehugbo.
‎
‎Till date, Isu Oko Ogeri is still recognized by manu for his Leadership qualities and Charisma even though he was the King who never ruled his people.
‎
‎Chief Isu Oko Ogeri would have been the first Omakaejali Ehugbo before Ezeogo Otuu Oyim from Ihuogo Amangbala if not for his involvement in Obu eno.

‎Ezeogo Isu Oko Ogeri is from Ezi Agbi Ukpa and his mother from Ezi Onuu Amangbala.
