EPISODE 1: THE WALSONS' APPEARANCE

In what appears our first official public function in Ahoada months after marriage, The walsons' stunned the venue of the marriage event of Hon. Mrs. Ununuma Bidemi Sim Fubara and her husband Mr. Golden Orisah with shades of excitement and deep thanks to God for a day and dream come through for the couple.

The choice of our appearance was very deliberate as WHITE AND GREEN with touches of GOLD were carefully chosen which infers; purity and sincerity of their LOVE and HEART toward one another, FERTILITY and GROWTH for them in every facet of life and GOLD signalling their control and enjoyment of the GOOD THINGS of this life.

The Walsons' pray the new found love wax stronger as lovebirds through the raging storms of life and calms like sea breeze that life offers periodically. We pray them peace, prosperity and progress in purposeful pursuit of their dreams, turning them to realities within set timelines.

Ideally, we were flanked by an array of fine gentlemen and lady -- Mr. Profit Ohali, Mr. Gooday Ogbobula, Engr. Leventis Lugard and Mrs. Colleen Uwhetu Sampson who graciously made our day, stay and smile worth the time during the outing.

HON, COMRADE (DR) JUSTICE EWOH ATTENDED THE MEETING BETWEEN OML58 OF TOTAL ENERGIES AND HOST COMMUNITIES IN UBIE KINGDOM, AT AKINIMA IN AHOADA WEST COUNCIL SECRETARIAT.

Yesterday, Ekpeye Youths President General, Hon. Comrade Justice Ewoh Ph.D attended the meeting between Oml58 of Total Energies and host communities in Akinima, Ahoada west local government council Secretariat.

The purpose of the meeting was to address the issues of the protest and perceived marginalization by the host communities and to also establish a good working relationship between the company and the host communities.

During the meeting, affected communities captured as landlords to Total Energies for the Ubeta Development project presented two delegates each, to present their demands to the company management and other key stakeholders involved for appropriate deliberation and considerations, the request for this host communities were addressed by the company's representatives, which led to the adjournment of the meeting to a later date for renegotiations that will lead to the inclusion of the additional concerns of the landlords & EYC raised during the meeting.

However, the EYC president General, in his speech, emphasized on the issues of youth marginalization in term of benefits and entitlements from Multi nationals operating in Ekpeyeland, he further called for a renegotiation of the Ubeta project in order to allow for the proper placement of Ekpeye Youths in the scheme of things, and also reiterated his administration's resolve to operate an open door policy with the various Multi nationals operating in Ekpeyeland, for cooperation and harmony. He further declared that any company that is poised to refusing Ekpeye youths their entitlements, will be resisted by it's body totally;

The Chief Host of the meeting Conr. Iyekor Eyee accorded EYC Executive, ably led Comrade Justice Ewoh Ph.D a warm reception as the Apex youth body of Ekpeye Ethnic nationality, and the Meeting also attracted the attention of the Chief of Staff Government House Port Harcourt, Rt. Hon. Edison Ehie DSSRS, Ph.D , Esq. who represented the State Government, and other dignitaries of both the state Government & Total Energies representative headed by High Chief, Ahiamadu Nnamdi, the Community affair manager of total energies.
