Why do people prefer falling for scams instead of learning real businesses? 🤦♀️
Honestly, I still don’t understand it.
A few days ago, I met a young lady online who told me she wanted to start making money from her phone. I smiled and introduced her to affiliate marketing — a legit business model that has changed so many lives (including mine).
She said she didn’t have the money to register, so I told her, “No problem, when you’re ready, just reach out.”
Fast forward three days later, she came back to my DM in tears 😢
She had fallen for a scam.
Someone promised to “double her money” if she sent ₦10,000. Out of desperation, she even sent ₦20,000 hoping to get ₦40,000 back.
The moment she sent it, they blocked her.
Now tell me — how do people fall for things like this?
The same ₦10,000 she said she didn’t have to invest in something real, she gave ₦20,000 to a scammer because of “quick money.”
If she had used that ₦10,000 to learn affiliate marketing and maybe another ₦10,000 to run a small ad, she could have started a real business that pays her over and over again.
That’s how many people miss their blessings — chasing shortcuts instead of learning real skills.
📌 Moral of the story:
Stop looking for “doubles” and start learning what multiplies.
Real wealth takes knowledge, consistency, and patience — not luck.
