This movie is golden 😳

First, there was NO MONEY

It was just trade by barter.

Give me your goat, and take my hen.

(Stay with me)

If you understand this post, you will UNDERSTAND money big time (and begin to attract more of it. Back to our analogy.

Then people realized that - how can you exchange goat for hen, when you are not mad?

It is not fair nau.

What if I now hold the hen and cannot find anyone who will exchange it for a horse?

This was a real problem:

So the governments of that time said - "Let’s have something people will agree on… But scarce enough that they will value it."

See where the drift happened? (Remember this drift, it gets very important as we go deeper)

Money itself was NOT the main thing.

The main thing was that A wanted Goat and B wanted Hen… but there was no FAIR WAY to exchange it.

So they created GOLD COINS with the heads of emperors.

Yepee!

Problem solved, no more fights in the market.

Now, people were exchanging things fairly.

Then the magic happened!

Capitalism.

People realized that - ā€˜ā€™Hey, if I brought ONE hen, I will get one coin and with this coin I get ONE mug of beer…’’

ā€˜ā€™Nice system’’, They said. ā€˜ā€™Which means that if I brought in 2 Hens then I can have 2 Mugs of Beer.’’

So they robbed villages for hens…traded it in for coins and bought more beer.

Feeling the drift? Good.

Time passed by. These men wanted more HENS…because they now wanted barrels of beer. But they could not steal all the hens alone. They needed more hands, so they hired more thiefs - got on boats and attacked bigger villages.

Got more hens

Sold it for more coins

The hired thiefs were paid Wages & salary - because the Chief thief owned the boats.

…people heard someone was giving gold coins if you help steal hens, so people came to the boat to join, so they can collect gold coins to buy the things they wanted.

But the big boys had small boats.

While the petty thiefs were spending their coins on BEER, boat guy saved and bought another small boat. Then another. And another. Till they sold all THREE small boats and got a bigger one.

Now they have a full army to invade KINGDOMS.

Boat owners become Kings. Petty thiefs the soldiers.

So what happened is that the boat owners went for HENS [value]

The small theifs went for gold coins [MONEY]

Following this?

Get what just happened?

The focus is NOT money - it is boats & HENS!

Let me break this down:

Money comes to producers. The more you produce, the more you make.

Have you noticed….that there are people money effortlessly FLOW to

Then there are OTHERS who struggle to make ends meet.

And have you wondered WHY it is so?

Why do some poeple work so hard, but make so very little?

6 years ago I had a $35/Month job (20k naira). I was like a petty thief in my analogy.

My boss was the boat owner.

I was living on ₦20,000 - monthly

Just like a lot of grown adults today with ₦20,000…₦50,000 jobs.

8am - 4pm of hard labour - every day.

The money is never enough for anything.

And LOOK… If you make above ₦200,000 you may look at people like this like they are stupid.

…but it is happening to you too.

You have reached a cap.

₦2M - ₦5M cash flow.

But you have never made ₦20M or ₦50M.

…and no matter what you do you cannot break through that ceiling

And you see people in an income bracket above yours and wonder

ā€˜ā€™How dem dey see this money?’’

That is the wrong question.

It is a game of BOATS & Hens.

Not coins.

The man with the BOAT gets more hen and he gets more coins.

The lady working at the mall focuses on the Coin, the man who owns it is a Boat guy.

So it is a question of

One - what BOAT are they on?

Two - what is the Size of the Boat?

Three - How many hens does the boat bring in?

This seems like such a simple analogy. Till you begin to see the big picture.

Say you are a copywriter.

You sell your service - you get some Gold coins. Life is sweet in your small boat.

With one client at a time

But someone else creates a COPYWRITING agency - he trains copywriters & have 10 working under him.

He can take on 10 Clients at a time.

Bigger boat

Bigger coin.

Then someone creates an EVEN bigger boat.

A PC company, for the copywriters - now he can sell that PC to THOUSANDS of copywriters at a time.

Bigger boat.

Bigger bag of Gold coin.

One person sells courses, another creates Udemy.

One person has a Taxi, another Creates Uber.

Get it?

Now let us talk about you.

Do you own a boat?

Small or big?

How do you get on a bigger boat?

Spending on beers or getting ready to buy a bigger boat?

By now, if you have followed up to this point, you are beginning to see clearly.

You now see that hardwork alone will not cut it, if your boat is small (study stats of where the most money flow in your country).

Heck, you may have even gotten an idea of what to do to make your boat bigger.

This is the secret.

Wealth flows to the man with the BIGGEST boat. The gold coins is NOT the focus. Build bigger boats.

There are TWO types of knowing.

1. Knowing
2. UNDERSTANDING IT so deeply it shifts your mind.

I hope number 2 happens to you.
