I Almost Gave Up on This Elastic Thread… Until I Tried This! 😲
My elastic (smocking) thread kept giving me uneven stitches and the seam started falling apart. I experimented by soaking the thread in water overnight before sewing, and this was the result!
This is my personal sewing tip based on my experience, and it gave me smoother, more even gathers. Have you ever tried this technique?
