As a newbie Writer, one of the biggest mistakes you can make is waiting for inspiration to strike before writing.

I learned this the hard way when I first started.

Don't rely solely on feeling inspired to write.

Instead, schedule dedicated writing time and stick to it.

When it's time to write, grab your device or pen and paper, and get to work.

Inspiration is all around you.

Draw from your own experiences, opinions, and observations.

You can Write about an article that resonated with you, a conversation that sparked an idea, or a personal story that needs to be told.

Content is everywhere, and as a writer, it's your job to tap into it.

Don't wait for inspiration to find you - go out and find it.

Observe the world around you, ask questions, and seek out new experiences.

With that, You'll never run out of ideas to write about.

It's more frustrating when your hard work seems to go unnoticed.

But here's the thing: people are watching, even if it doesn't feel like it.

Your breakthrough might be closer than you think.

So, keep showing up.

Don't be too hard on yourself.

Celebrate those small wins - they count!

Always remember why you started in the first place.

Your "why" will keep you going even when things get tough.

Keep showing up, keep creating, and keep sharing your message.

You see the way Apple constantly upgrades its iOS, making each new version better than the last.

It is humanly natural and possible to outgrow some habits, lifestyles, and upgrade to a newer and better version of yourself.

Now that you know better, you should do better, unless you don't, then you should seek more knowledge.

Personal growth is a lifelong journey, not a destination.

Not that I'm suggesting you should brag, but rather showcase your intellect like a math book that shows its workings.

Whether at work, school, or social gatherings, you can't always remain silent when meaningful topics are being discussed.

That's why it is necessary to be informed.

Read books, read articles online, listen to meaningful podcasts, and watch educational videos.

It is true that you can not know everything, but do not be ignorant in all ways.

You can not just smile throughout long meaningful conversations.

Train your mind, sharpen your knowledge, and enlighten yourself on important matters.

You might wonder why this is necessary.

Here's the thing: opportunities rarely come to those who remain silent.

People need to see your potential before they can offer you opportunities.

Personal development is important.

GROW and EVOLVE.

When I decided to pursue writing, I sought recommendations from a colleague and reached out to two writers.

Unfortunately, neither responded.

I took matters into my own hands and searched for writers on Facebook.

The first writer I contacted had a class starting in three months, but I couldn't wait that long.

I asked for private classes, but she declined, she complained about limited time.

I didn't give up. I continued searching until I found another writer who offered one-on-one classes.

After the first training, I decided to push further.

I later joined her group training, marking the official start of my writing journey.

Although, I had been writing before the training, but my incompetent work was obvious (You could easily tell)

After comparing my work to other certified writers, I knew TALENT WAS NOT ENOUGH.

I needed to go under professional tutelage for more knowledge which I did.

This experience taught me that talent alone is insufficient; mastery is key.

To grow as a writer:

✅Submit to mentorship
✅Attend workshops and webinars
✅Watch online tutorials and useful videos
✅Read articles from experienced writers
✅Read books across genres

Investing in your craft can transform your writing.

Don't be afraid to seek guidance, learn from others, and hone your skills.
