I’ve thought about this many times. I believe there’s something we’re missing when it comes to Portable.
Despite all his controversies and drama, he keeps getting gigs and still works with top-rated artists.
Someone like me would naturally want to stay away from his kind of personality. But somehow, people still pay him big money for features, performances and promotions.
The most surprising one was Ric Hassani’s recent interview, where he confirmed that Portable is featured on his new album. He even said it was easy working with him. Portable also confirmed he got paid N10,000,000 for the gig.
This got me thinking—why am I so curious?
There are so many other artists out there who are hardworking, talented, and doing everything right to avoid bad publicity. Yet, they haven’t achieved even 5% of what Portable has done.
So, what exactly is working for Portable?
Is it talent, grace, strategy, or just nature?
