Burundi 🇧🇮 President joins his farm workers for potatoes harvest during his vacation.
While on vacation, His Excellency Evariste Ndayishimiye, accompanied by , harvested potatoes in his field in Bugarama, Muramvya Commune.
"Vacation means a change of activities," said the Leader, determined to make agriculture the engine of development.
In his potato field in Bugarama, with 4.5 tons of seeds, His Excellency Evariste Ndayishimiye said he expects a production of 50 to 60 tons.
He reiterated his commitment to developing undeveloped state land and invited young people active in the media to cultivate the land as well. Alongside the potato harvest in Bugarama, the presidential couple toured their wheat field, located within easy reach of the potato field.
