Why Your Child Forgets What They Learn at School

Has your child ever come home from school, and when you ask, "What did you learn today?" they simply say, "I don't know."

Don't panic—this can happen to many children.

The good news is that children often remember more when they have opportunities to use what they've learned.

Here are a few simple ways to help:

Ask specific questions like, "What was the most interesting thing you learned today?"

Encourage your child to explain a lesson in their own words.

Heavenly Father,

Today, I lift my children into Your loving hands.

Thank You for the precious gift of their lives.

I pray that You will surround them with Your divine protection wherever they go.

May Your angels watch over them and keep them safe at home, at school, on the road, and in every place they find themselves.

Shield them from danger and guide their steps according to Your will.

Grant them good health, strength, wisdom, and long life.

May they grow to fulfill the purpose You have prepared for them and become a blessing to their generation.

I declare that Your peace will rest upon them, Your favor will go before them, and Your presence will never depart from them.

Critical thinking isn't about having all the answers...

Open doors of opportunity that no one can shut, and surround them with people who will encourage and guide them.

Protect them from every danger, seen and unseen.

May they walk in confidence, kindness, and integrity, and may Your light shine through them wherever they go.
