1 Peter | PETERU KINN1
4:12 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you.
4:13 But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.
4:14 If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.
4:15 If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler.
4:16 However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.
4:17 For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

4:18 And, 'If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?'

4:19 So then, those who suffer according to God's will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.

Exodus | ẸKISODU

14:8 The LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, so that he pursued the Israelites, who were marching out boldly.

14:9 The Egyptians-all Pharaoh's horses and chariots, horsemen and troops-pursued the Israelites and overtook them as they camped by the sea near Pi Hahiroth, opposite Baal Zephon.

14:10 As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the LORD.

14:11 They said to Moses, 'Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt?

14:12 Didn't we say to you in Egypt, 'Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians'? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!'

14:13 Moses answered the people, 'Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.

14:15 Then the LORD said to Moses, 'Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on.

14:14 The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.'

14:16 Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.

14:17 I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them. And I will gain glory through Pharaoh and all his army, through his chariots and his horsemen.

14:18 The Egyptians will know that I am the LORD when I gain glory through Pharaoh, his chariots and his horsemen.'

14:19 Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in front of Israel's army, withdrew and went behind them. The pillar of cloud also moved from in front and stood behind them,

14:20 coming between the armies of Egypt and Israel. Throughout the night the cloud brough

Psalms | ORIN DAFIDI
48:10 Like your name, O God, your praise reaches to the ends of the earth; your right hand is filled with righteousness.

48:11 Mount Zion rejoices, the villages of Judah are glad because of your judgments.

48:12 Walk about Zion, go around her, count her towers,

48:13 consider well her ramparts, view her citadels, that you may tell of them to the next generation.

48:14 For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.

1 Peter | PETERU KINNI

2:4 As you come to him, the living Stone-rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him-

2:5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

2:6 For in Scripture it says: 'See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.'

2:7 Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, 'The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone,'

2:8 and, 'A stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall.' They stumble because they disobey the message-which is also what they were destined for.

2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

2:10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

Psalms | ORIN DAFIDI

95:1 Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.

95:2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.

95:3 For the LORD is the great God, the great King above all gods.

95:4 In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him.

95:5 The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.

95:6 Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker;

95:7 for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if you hear his voice,

95:8 do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah, as you did that day at Massah in the desert,

95:9 where your fathers tested and tried me, though they had seen what I did.

95:10 For forty years I was angry with that generation; I said, 'They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known my ways.'

95:11 So I declared on oath in my anger, 'They shall never enter my rest.'

Psalms | ORIN DAFIDI

110:1 Of David. A psalm. The LORD says to my Lord: 'Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.'

110:2 The LORD will extend your mighty scepter from Zion; you will rule in the midst of your enemies.

110:3 Your troops will be willing on your day of battle. Arrayed in holy majesty, from the womb of the dawn you will receive the dew of your youth.

110:4 The LORD has sworn and will not change his mind: 'You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.'

110:5 The Lord is at your right hand; he will crush kings on the day of his wrath.

110:6 He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead and crushing the rulers of the whole earth.

110:7 He will drink from a brook beside the way ; therefore he will lift up his head.

Mark | MAKU

English
10:23 Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, 'How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!'

English
10:24 The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said again, 'Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!

English
10:25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.'

English
10:26 The disciples were even more amazed, and said to each other, 'Who then can be saved?'

English
10:27 Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.'

English
10:28 Peter said to him, 'We have left everything to follow you!'

English
10:29 'I tell you the truth,' Jesus replied, 'no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel

10:30 will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields-and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life.

10:31 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.'

10:32 They were on their way up to Jerusalem, with Jesus leading the way, and the disciples were astonished, while those who followed were afraid. Again he took the Twelve aside and told them what was going to happen to him.

10:33 'We are going up to Jerusalem,' he said, 'and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles,

10:34 who will mock him and spit on him, flog him and kill him. Three days later he will rise.'

10:35 Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to him. 'Teacher,' they said, 'we want you to do for us whatever we ask.'

10:36 'What do you want me to do for you?' he asked.

10:37 They replied, 'Let one of us sit at your right and the other at your lef
