I'VE FINALLY DECIDED TO POST FOR YOU GUYS YOUR REACTIONS ARE ALL I ASK FOR 🙏
"Who are you?" Nora asked stunned just as the others who started at the woman.
"My name is Kalypso, I've been sent by master Visadine to be your mentor, teach you all you need to know about your powers and get you all prepared, you all have great tasks ahead of you and unless you're prepared you can't accomplish them, come with me" saying this the woman now known as Kalypso turned and moved forward going deeper into the forest, Nora and the others looked at each other for a while before shrugging and following Kalypso behind.
"um... ma'am if you don't mind me asking, how old are you?" Samantha asked.
"Call me Kalypso, and to answer your question I'm a thousand years old" Kalypso replied and Sammie froze on her spot shocked, while Jason unable to control himself burst into laughter
"You're kidding right?" Jason asked between muffled laughter as he use his right hand to suppress his giggles but when he saw the glare from Kalypso his face turned serious
"You're not kidding, but how come you're still young, surely you're supposed to be an old lady by now"
"Whatever Jason just stop" Nora cautioned him, Kalypso said nothing but kept on walking this time with quickened paces making the others try to keep up with her.
Finally they stopped at an entry with a rocky wall which was close shut, on the wall was a large painted circle with symbolized letters and carved patterns in it. It looked like a puzzle because all the symbols and carved patterns were disarranged.
"Which of you can fix this puzzle?" Kalypso asked turning to face them as she gestured with her hand at the circle. Nora and the others looked at each with a confused look. The puzzle was a hard one to solve because the symbols and patterns were so out of shape.
"Let..me try" Nora finally volunteered
"Okay" Kalypso said and moved aside for Nora who stepped towards the wall, she reached for the circle and then started pushing one pattern in the middle of the circle, she put one pattern downwards with a symbol upwards, pushed two symbols at the side of a pattern sideways then pushed two more patterns downwards, soon the puzzle was fixed and solved, the others gasped as they saw the patterns reveal a big flower while the symbols revealed letter words but they were not written in English. It read thus:
"What does it mean?" Jason asked
"I was made for the light" Anita replied. "Oh you know the meaning, cool" Samantha said "Nora did the fixing and you did the translation, nice" Bill said as he ruffled Anita's hair earning a smile from her lips.
"Well-done" Kalypso said looking pleased. Just then a cracking noise was heard, they all turned to see the entrance of the wall split into two creating a passage way for them to pass through, they all entered and the entrance closed itself shut behind them. Then they found themselves on another grassy environment. Nora then turned to Kalypso "I have a question, the flower on the wall, do you know what it is?" She asked and Kalypso nodded then sat on the grass cuddling her hawk, the rest followed suit as they also say on the soft grass. Kalypso sighed before she spoke
"The flower is one of our most powerful Mystical items, we call it the 'Flower of life' hidden in a place where no being knows, Abaddon searches through time to find it but he can never get it because if he gets his hands on it, then the world is doomed to fall at his feet"
Hearing this words from Kalypso stroke a string of fear in Samantha's heart as she began to panick
"Then we'll have to find it before he does" She managed to mutter
"Never fear my child, ten thousand years ago, the flower of life was made by one of the past Mystic lord of the light and it can only be used by the people of the light, it has to be given to gain it's powers but we feared that some servants of the light might get decieved with deceptive promises to lure them to give up the flower, so the past lord whose name was Vangal hid the flower away from the world into a place where no souls knows about, only one of true pure heart is worthy to discover it. Though lord Vangal has passed on, Abaddon still struggles to find the flower but he won't discover it because he needs a soul who's pure of heart, a servant of the light to assist him, but I believe that no one of the light can do such a thing, except Aerith that traitor" At this moment, Kalypso's eyes shone with a trace of hurt and rage in them , though she tried to steel herself by keeping up a composure of a stern facade, Anita could see right through them.
"You and her were once close friends right?" Nora asked making Kalypso turned to her with a glare
"Did you just read my mind?" Kalypso asked, her tone slow but dangerous, her aura making the atmosphere to be suddenly chilled making even her hawk to step away from her
"Ooops" Nora mumbled suddenly regretting her actions
"Oh dear" Samantha whispered as she shook her head unsure of what is about to unfold.......
