Today at Masjidil Sheriff, Sheikh Dr Rabiu Tahir Tahir Rabiu reminded us to purify our intentions for the coming Eid al-Adha sacrifice and to stay away from innovations that contradict the Sunnah.

He addressed common practices like 3-day, 8-day, and 40-day prayers for the dead, and explained why such acts fall into bid’ah and shirk.
